hello anybody:) ...
firsly,i want to say sorry for late posing...
we went to nSingapore polytechnic on 29 july 2008 ..The school let us go separately with other class..Our class go with 206..and i can remeber that is a very very hot day..We all cannot take it the weather but still concentrate listen to the teacher that they explain to us.. That day i was learn a alot of things about solar energy..For example we learnt how to use solar energy and what type of solar can we made of .etc
We also listen to a professional talking about the solar energy while we are taking pohots ..
At the end of the prensentation,i know solar is very useful for us and can save electricity ..
In concluction, i believed that solar energy can be made plenty of things and made use of many methods.. AND the very important things is that i very gland can trip to that shool i was admire very much..
The trip is also very meaningfuk to me..

SECOND POST

This was my first time going to Singapore Polytechnic's solar farm. It was indeed a noteworthy and significant visit. I had learn alot through this project. We must have team spirit, self confidence, cooperation and encouragement from each of us in other to complete this solar energy project. This project had truthfully bonded us together as well as further discover the uses of solar energy and its power. (:
Overall, I sincerely would like thank the teachers for planning such a memorable project. ;D

FIRST POST

29th July 2008 was our trip to SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC together with class 206. (:
Through this talk, we realised how important solar energy is and it is a clean energy which is good for our environment and has many many advantages!
Solar energy is easily available through light and does not cause any form of pollution and hence does not cause any harm to the Earth!
However, we also learnt that there wont be any solar energy with no sunlight available all day long and there is no sunlight in the night or on rainy days..
Solar energy really assists us in many many ways!
SOLAR is LOVED ;D

This is the second post containing some photos taken at the solar farm and my reflection(:

Overall,

i had learn quite a lot on solar energy through the project,

the powerpoint presentation also gain me more confidence in presenting.

our project outcome is a solar-powered musical box,

we felt that it were both intresting and creative.

the box could be used to store items that were memorable.

it would also give out beautiful melody when it was being opened.

i had also learn about teamwork through the project:D

Teamwork is essential in the project as we had to work closely with each other,

the project had further bond our friendship and open the door to a wide range of knowledge on solar power(:

solar power is a good source of power,it lesser pollutions by a huge amount,

unlike fuels and coal.

this project had make use of science and design and technology knowledge we know,

it helps us further understand the topic we learn in class=]

hello everyone!(:
we went to Singapore polytechnic on July 29 and had a talk by professor Jiang at an air-conditioned lecture room,concerning solar energy.
through the talk,
we had learn more on solar energy and why we need to use it.

Solar energy is a clean and green energy,

it allows us to lesser pollution on the environment,thus,reducing green house effect.
green house effect is a terrible effect as it causes sea levels to rise.

as sea levels rises,it will cause bad flood in the low-lying areas.

Next,we went to the solar farm.
it was warmth and humid there,but we get to see the solar panels.

the panels were very hot,

standing near it,

we could feel the humid air around it.
it was a sunny day that day(;

our class also took some photos there.
it was an intresting and fun trip.
Our enthusiatic class had a lot of fun during the trip.

it is essential to learn how to save the environment,

as it is where we belong,

our only home(:

we had learn a lot on solar energy through the trip,
it was a memorable trip filled with fun and laughter:D
i hope to have more of projects like this as it allows us to explore the wonders of science,

it also feed us with knowledge that help us in our MPW project:D

Second Post .
The visit to the Solar Farm was indeed a memorable and exciting one .
We were able to understand more about the process of absorbing solar energy and witnessing what a solar farm is . The trip also helps to built up our team spirit as different jobs were issued to each member to helped out by taking photos , writing down notes and etc . We were able to apply this value we had in our daily life and our future project tasks . The notes taken down by notetaker may also help to assists our MPW project further on . I truly enjoyed myself there and if there will be another chance of MPW learning journey , i will certainly participate and place all my focus and attention in the talk .

Hello Everybody ,
I am going to give a speech about the SOLAR TRIP on 29 JULY 2oo8 and My Reflection on it .
The trip to SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC .
After Reaching there , we were invited into an Air-Conditioned room near the vending machines . We were having our briefing on how solar energy affects our life and information about solar energy .
There were two people explaining to us about the process of converting solar energy into other energy by using Powerpoint Slides .Pictures were shown on those slide , making it more easy for us to understand and thus keeping us from being bored . We understood more about Solar energy in this way .
After the briefing , we walked for a distance and we reached a block .
We walked up the stairs and were led to a rooftop .
Equipments of obtaining light energy were all located on the rooftop , It was a very warm and bright place , thus making it the most suitable place to obtain sunlight .
We were allowed to take some photos over there .I took some pictures and went to explore around the equipments . I touched them gently , and i could feel that it was extremely hot .After that , our class then proceeded to the bus bay and waited patiently for bus to fetch us back to school .
Personal Response :
The trip Was very meanningful .
We get to know more about Solar energy which will assist me when i am doing my MPW project . The trip to the Singapore Polytechnic was fun too , it helps to built up our knowledge and to explore a school that we had not went in before .It was an enjoyable Learnning Journey (: .
